How can I make extra income from moringa if I don’t own land?
You don’t need land to make extra income from moringa! There are several options.
1) Use other people’s properties. Kendrick started this collective by harvesting moringa trees on others peoples properties. Harvest their greens, dry them and package them. The key to making income from moringa is drying the leaves. Find a space you can dry the leaves, and your on your way to financial freedom from moringa.
2) Join the free affiliate program and earn commissions by selling moringa products from our shop, without touching any moringa yourself. Then, as a member receive affiliate marketing training.
Do both of these steps, simultaneously, for ultimate success. Additionally, we’ll teach you how to build your online presence, market products, and develop your own moringa brand once you have your own trees producing. Once you’re ready, you can start creating and selling your own moringa products, even if you’re starting small.
The key to your future success is learning how to talk about moringa now, so that when someone asks you a question about moringa, you know how to answer them, in an effort to sell them moringa, from your own supply or making a commission from our shop.
Where can I grow moringa?
You can grow moringa anywhere in the USA during the summer months as a short, bushy annual, much like a bean or veggie plant. Grow it as annual crop like many other herbs and flower plants.
In colder regions, the moringa trees will not reach full size, instead plant the seeds in the spring and harvest the fresh leaves for several months in the summer. By fall, the trees will go dormant and if there is a frost, the trees may not live. There is a chance some moringa trees could come back in the spring if your area experiences a frost, but they do not have thick bark and can not tolerate cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
As a plan in colder regions, sprout several thousand moringa trees in the spring and summer to harvest a big enough crop of greens to make extra income from your leaves. You can plant 1,000 moringa seeds in a small raised bed or in a 10’x10′ area. Plant 100 moringa seeds in a small tray and sprout them as a moringa microgreen in the winter and plant them out in your field in the spring.
In tropical and subtropical regions, moringa can grow year-round as a full sized perennial tree. Grow large moringa trees in areas that do not frost and harvest the moringa fruit known as the Drumstick, which produces seeds. It usually takes 1-2 years to produce moringa drumsticks and seeds.
With the Grow Moringa Collective, you’ll learn how to grow moringa in any environment, whether in small trays in your kitchen, in pot containers, greenhouses, or open fields.
How many moringa trees can I plant on one acre of land?
The number of trees you can plant on 1-acre depends on your goals and how much income you’d like to make. Start by asking yourself, do I want to make $10,000 a year or $100,000 a year?
That’s because you can plant a few hundred moringa trees to several hundred thousand moringa trees on 1-acre.
The next question you want to ask yourself is, Do I want to grow moringa for people, pets, or plant consumption? This will determine the density of your moringa operation and the methods of harvesting and your processing equipment. Your income goals are also going to determine your design. Your design also depends on your location; in areas with frost, planting for drumstick (seed pod) production may not be ideal, but you could grow intensively with small trees only a few inches apart for the summer months as annual cash crop, harvesting your material for Bio-Mass.
The Grow Moringa Collective can help you design your farm for maximum efficiency and profitability.
What is the cost for membership?
Currently, you can have full access to the members area and the multiple tools, including daily zoom calls by joining the Moringa Business Plan for $27/month or save 1 month and select the $297/annual option.
